Amy is currently attending UNLV, where she is majoring in hospitality and minoring in psychology. At UNLV, she is a member of the Rebel Girls and Company collegiate dance team. Amy was on the Coronado Cougarettes from 2016 to 2020. Her favorite memory on the team is holding her teammates’ hands and sitting on stage at NDA Nationals 2020 awaiting the announcement of jazz awards. The memory of the moments leading up to winning the national championship will remain with her forever. Amy was able to spend her first year of college with both the Cougarettes and the Rebel Girls. During this time, Amy deepened her appreciation for the Cougarette program and how well it prepared her for a collegiate dance team. The Cougarette Dance Team has allowed Amy to feel confident throughout her college experience. Amy’s greatest lesson from her time as a Cougarette is that “The work is worth it!”
