Goldie's Wood Fern
Goldie's Wood Fern is one of a number of Fern's that grow in shady woodland areas. Ferns are easy to identify because of their very distinctive leaves (often called "fronds"). Ferns do not have flowers, they reproduce by dropping tiny spores from the underside of their leaves. The spores land on the ground and grow new plants (like seeds). If you look at the underside of the leaves you may see little dots from which the spores are released.
