September 16 Nature Play Date

Visitors to the Play Space were able to explore and learn about an amazing variety of bugs. Some had been collected by serious bug collectors, and other were discovered on the spot by turning over logs. Many large plastic bugs were uncovered in the bug excavation pit.

New prairie plants were planted in the prairie butterfly garden, some of the plants grown from seeds by visitors to our June Play Date.

Watering the new plants was a treat.

New items for the Nature Curiosity Museum are constantly being discovered and added to the collection
