Sept. 20, 2018, Bonfire Celebration

We had a great event in Cornell Park on Thursday, September 20. The park came alive. More than 50 people, many families, braved the unusual heat and enjoyed the bonfire, marshmallows, S'mores, skulls and skins, and music. One generous parent brought hot dogs, so it wasn't just sugar highs. The fire was started without the aid of matches by attendee Alicia with the help of Joel from the Chicago Park District. Music and dance enlivened the evening with help from Marsha Melscheimer of "Marsha's Music".
