April 2016 Playdate

On April 8, 2017, we had our first "Nature Play Date" in Cornell Park. It was a great success, with children and their families getting to know the Cornell Park Nature Play Space, digging for buried treasure, examining residents of the bug motel, building and improvising games with the natural material available, and creating art projects. We hope it will be the first of many nature oriented activities in Cornell Park.

Some logs, branches and sticks lead to exciting construction projects and improvised games.
