I have typed a large amount of text into my corkboard cards, because I use them for outlining a story. However, the cards become go blank. If I wait long enough, 1 or 2 might fill in, but I can't otherwise get the text.
Synopses don't appear in the actual document editor, whereas Titles do. I saw another relatively recent thread that suggests that there's no way to display a Synopsis directly on the document editing view (e.g., Scrivenings mode or otherwise), and they instead appear only in places such as the inspector, on the index card, etc. I'm really hoping this isn't the case, since again, the Titles being so limited on the corkboard means I have to choose from the following two compromises, either:

The corkboard itself is a familiar detective trope that everyone knows from movies and tv shows, and within the game has even more functionality. At the moment the corkboard also displays the core mechanic behind the game logic recognising incriminating evidence. Incrimination is passed along from one evidence item to another via connections (represented by the string). For example, the source of incrimination could be a dead body with a stab wound. The connection to where it was found (in this example lets say an apartment) will pass a sizable portion of that incrimination from the body along to it. From there you could discover that someone other than the victim lives in that apartment- again a portion of incrimination from the apartment is passed along to that person via the connection.
Once a font is chosen, install it to the computer. Then type the text the bulletin board needs. Depending on the size of the heading, you will want to play with the size of the font. I typically use a size 400 font but it all depends on the space and size that I need the letters to be.

COCONET, a BBS system made by Coconut Computing, Inc., was released in 1988 and only supported a GUI (no text interface was initially available but eventually became available around 1990), and worked in EGA/VGA graphics mode, which made it stand out from text-based BBS systems.
