Appifyhaven Apps ("we," "us," or "our") built the CoreScope – Device & Task Manager app as an Ad-Supported app. This SERVICE is provided by Appifyhaven Apps at no cost and is intended for use as is.

This page is used to inform visitors regarding our policies with the collection, use, and disclosure of Personal Information if anyone decides to use our Service.

If you choose to use our Service, then you agree to the collection and use of information in relation to this policy. The information processed by CoreScope is used strictly for providing and improving on-device diagnostic services. We will not use or share your information with anyone except as described in this Privacy Policy.

1. Information Collection and Use

To provide a comprehensive device hardware, memory, thermal, and task management experience, CoreScope processes certain technical and diagnostic data directly on your device, including:

• Hardware & System Diagnostic Metrics: Real-time CPU utilization, core frequencies, RAM memory consumption, battery level, charging status, battery temperature, thermal throttling state, display specifications, internal storage stats, and Android system build details.

• Task Manager & Process Information: Package names, application labels, version codes, target SDK levels, memory (PSS) footprints, and active foreground or background execution status for installed applications.

• Network Metrics: Network connectivity type (Wi-Fi or Cellular), local IP address, Wi-Fi link speed, and real-time upload/download data traffic counters (RX/TX bytes).

• Hardware Sensor Data: Temporary real-time readings from device sensors (such as accelerometer, gyroscope, and ambient light sensors) when explicitly viewed within the app's Sensors monitor screen.

📍 Sensitive Data & Permissions (Prominent Permission Disclosures)

To deliver core hardware monitoring and task manager functionality, CoreScope requests the following permissions:

• Usage Access Permission (PACKAGE_USAGE_STATS):

Prominent Disclosure: Android 7.0+ restricts background application visibility for privacy. CoreScope requires Usage Access permission solely to detect active running applications (such as Chrome, WhatsApp, Spotify) and display their active memory footprint in the Task Manager section. This data is processed 100% locally on your device and is never uploaded or transmitted to external servers.

• Network State Permission (ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE):

Prominent Disclosure: Required to query your active network connection type (Wi-Fi vs. Cellular), display your local network IP address, and calculate real-time network transfer speeds.

• Background Refresh & Alarm Services (WorkManager & AlarmManager):

CoreScope schedules periodic background updates to keep home screen widgets auto-updated with live hardware stats (CPU, RAM, Battery, and Storage). These background tasks run locally without excessive battery drain.

2. On-Device Local Processing & Privacy Guarantee

CoreScope operates 100% locally on your device:

• No Personal Data Collection: CoreScope does NOT collect, read, or store personal user data, contacts, SMS messages, browsing history, photos, or personal files.

• No Account Registration: CoreScope requires no user login, account creation, or personal authentication.

• No Remote Server Storage: Your process information and hardware diagnostic data never leave your phone.

3. Third-Party Services

The app uses third-party services that may collect information used to identify your device for ad delivery and analytics purposes.

4. Advertising & Mobile Identifiers

CoreScope displays advertisements provided by Google AdMob. Google AdMob may use mobile advertising identifiers (such as Google Advertising ID / GAID), cookies, or device characteristics to serve relevant, personalized, or non-personalized advertisements. You can reset or limit ad tracking at any time through your Android device settings (Settings -> Google -> Ads).

5. Log Data & Crash Reporting

We want to inform you that whenever you use our Service, in a case of an error in the app, we may collect data and information on your phone called Log Data through third-party products (such as Google Play Services or Firebase Crashlytics). This Log Data may include information such as your device Internet Protocol ("IP") address, device model, operating system version, the configuration of the app when utilizing our Service, the time and date of your use, and other performance statistics.

6. Security

We value your trust in using CoreScope for your device monitoring needs. Because all diagnostic calculations are performed locally on your device using standard Android APIs, your system information remains private. While we strive to use commercially acceptable technical means to protect device interaction, remember that no method of electronic storage or transmission is 100% secure.

7. Children’s Privacy

These Services do not address anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and you are aware that your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so that we can take necessary actions.

8. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. Thus, you are advised to review this page periodically for any changes. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page. These changes are effective immediately after they are posted.
