Pass Earth Core Labs ("we," "our," or "the App") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your choices regarding that information when you use our AI-powered virtual character chat service.

To provide a personalized and seamless experience, we collect the following types of data:

• Account Information:

  • Registration Data: If you create an account, we may collect your email address and a unique User ID via Google Firebase Authentication.

  • Profile Data: Any optional details you provide (e.g., your nickname, preferences).

• AI Interaction Data:

  • Chat Logs: Messages exchanged with AI characters are processed to generate responses. These logs are stored securely to maintain the context of your conversations (so the AI "remembers" you).

  • User Preferences: Your selection of AI characters and interaction topics. 

• Device & Usage Data:

  • Device Details: We may collect device model, operating system version, and IP address for security and debugging purposes.

  • Analytics: We collect anonymous data on app usage patterns (e.g., session length, crash reports) to improve stability.

3. How We Use Your Data

We use the collected data for the following purposes:

• Service Delivery: To generate AI responses, maintain chat history, and provide the core functionality of the App.

• Personalization: To deliver content and conversation styles based on the characters you select.

• Safety & Security: To detect fraud, enforce our content policies, and ensure the App remains safe for all users.

4. Data Sharing & Third-Party Providers

We do not sell your personal data. However, we share necessary data with trusted third-party providers to operate the App:

• OpenAI (AI Processing): We use the OpenAI API to generate AI character responses. The text you input into the chat is sent to OpenAI for processing. Please refer to OpenAI's Privacy Policy for details on how they handle API data.

• Google Firebase (Backend & Hosting): We use Firebase for secure data storage, authentication, and analytics. Your chat history and user profile are encrypted and stored on Firebase servers.

5. AI-Generated Content & Disclaimer (Important)

• Fictional Content: All characters, conversations, and scenarios are generated by artificial intelligence and are entirely fictional. The visual content (anime-style characters) is for entertainment purposes only.

• Unpredictability: AI responses may be unpredictable or occasionally contain content unsuitable for some users. Please use discretion when reading AI outputs.

• Reporting Mechanism: We are committed to safety. If you encounter inappropriate, offensive, or policy-violating AI responses, please use the in-app “Report” button or email us at passearthcore@gmail.com. We review reports within 48 hours and take corrective action, including blocking users or filtering content.

6. Age Restriction (18+)

CoreMate-Your AI Friend is strictly for users aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors. If we become aware that a user is under 18, we will terminate the account and delete the associated data immediately.

7. Data Retention & Deletion

• We retain your chat history and account data as long as your account is active to provide the service.

• Your Rights: You have the right to request the deletion of your account and all associated data. To request deletion, please contact us at passearthcore@gmail.com. We will process your request within a reasonable timeframe.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via the App or by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this policy. Continued use of the App constitutes acceptance of the new policy.
