Welcome to the Core Banks Surf Fishing Club's website.  We are a group of men and women who enjoy surf fishing and have a deep appreciation for the pristine beauty and uniqueness of the southern most NC Outer Banks called Core Banks.  Our club is open to all men and women with similar interests and passions.  Membership information can be found on this site, as well as other information about the club and what we do.  Check it out.

2024 Club Dues are Due

Don't forget...club dues for 2024 are due now (by March 31).  You can pay at the annual meeting or before hand by filling out the membership form and sending to Kent Wiggins (kwigg1@gmail.com). You can also sign up for the annual club Fishing Tournament  and the 1st Annual Fishing Tournament on the same form!

2024 CBSFC Annual Meeting

Our annual meeting was held on February 23, 2024 at the Swift Creek Community Center, 6221 Yates Mill Pond Road, Raleigh.  We had presentations by Superintendent Jeff West and the new Chief Ranger Nick Pulfer, announced the winners of the 2023 CBSFC Fishing Tournament, provided information and sign up opportunities for the 1st Annual Fishing Tournament, sign up for the work trip, ate some Smithfield's BBQ & Chicken, as well as lots of fellowship and fish tails.  

DIFF & CBSFC Upcoming Work Trip - 2024

The annual joint work trip is scheduled for May 8-12.  Sign up to help in maintaining the cabins on South Core Banks,  If interested, contact Roy Byrd (roy.byrd@mindspring.com).  Limited slots available, so hurry up and sign up.

2024 DIFF Club Fall Fishing Tournament

2024 DIFF Fall Fishing Tournament: October 10 -12, 2024. We're looking forward to seeing everyone at the tournament. Let's have another great year! We will open tournament registration at the annual meeting. Remember all tournament entries must be completed and/or postmarked by July 31, 2024.
