I'm a public management scholar who is passionate about the effectiveness and accountability of the public services delivered by nonprofit organizations. My work explores the complex dynamics between nonprofits, funders, governments, and the people they serve. 

I am particularly interested in how nonprofit financial managers navigate external pressures and uncertainty, and the extent to which those choices affect both fiscal health and organizational performance. I also investigate relationships between public perceptions of nonprofit characteristics—such as performance and religiosity—and our ability to provide effective, efficient, and equitable public services.
