Welcome to Cook Dialler. By using our app or services, you agree to these Terms & Conditions. Please read them carefully.
These terms govern your access to and use of the Cook Dialler platform, including booking cooks, payments, and communication features.
Users must be 18 years or older.
Users must provide accurate personal information.
Cook Dialler reserves the right to refuse service to anyone violating these terms.
Cook Dialler connects customers with professional cooks for home cooking services.
Services are provided by independent cooks, not Cook Dialler.
Cook Dialler acts as a platform and charges a 15% service fee, which includes GST and payment gateway charges.
Pricing is based on locality and number of people in the household.
Customers are billed monthly, with payment collected inside the app on the 1st of each month.
Late Payment Policy:
3-day grace period after the 1st.
₹50/day late fee after grace period.
Service may be paused or cancelled if payment is not received within 10 days.
Payment methods supported: UPI (GPay, PhonePe, Paytm), Debit Card, Credit Card, Netbanking.
Refund & Cancellation Policy (Updated)

Payments are collected inside the app on the 1st of each month.
Pricing depends on number of people in household + locality.
App charges 8-15% commission (includes GST + Razorpay fees).
Remaining 85-92% is paid to the assigned cook after service, based on days worked.
2️⃣ Customer Cancellation
Timing Refund / Payment Handling
Pro-rata refund based on days used.
Example: Monthly fee ₹4500, customer cancels on 10th:
Days used: 10 / 30 → ₹1500 paid for used days
Customer refunded ₹3000 for unused days |
3️⃣ Cook Cancelling / Leaving Mid-Month
Situation Handling
Cook leaves mid-month
Option A: Assign a new cook within 48 hours
Option B: Customer may request pro-rata refund for remaining days
Example:
Customer paid ₹4500 in advance, cook leaves on 10th:
Payment for 10 days worked → Cook gets ₹1275 (85%)
App keeps ₹225 (15%)
Customer refunded ₹3000 for remaining 20 days
Payment due: 1st of month
3-day grace period allowed
Late fee: ₹50/day after grace period
Service may be paused if payment not received within 10 days
6️⃣ Customer Responsibilities
Provide accurate information for bookings
Respect assigned cook and cooperate during service
Report issues within 48 hours for refund/dispute eligibility
7️⃣ Cook Responsibilities
Provide service professionally and safely
Notify Cook Dialler in advance in case of absence or leaving mid-month
Payment for days worked is calculated after service, 85% of the applicable amount

Arrive on time and follow customer requirements.
Notify Cook Dialler in advance in case of absence or leaving mid-month.
8. Limitation of Liability
Cook Dialler is a platform connecting customers and cooks.
We are not responsible for any direct or indirect damages caused by cooks or users.
All disputes regarding service quality or behavior will be handled by Cook Dialler support team.
Cook Dialler collects user information for service delivery and payments.
Personal data is stored securely and not shared with third parties except for payment processing.

10)Delete Your Cook Dialer Account
To request deletion of your account and data:
1. Email us at: cookdial.team@gmail.com
2. Subject: "Delete My Account - Cook Dialer"
3. Include your registered phone number
4. We will delete your account within 7 days
What gets deleted:
✓ Your name, phone number, address
✓ Service requests and history
✓ Payment records
✓ All personal data
What we keep (required by law):
- Financial transaction records for 7 years (Indian tax law)
