**Effective date:** July 2, 2026
Convertexa ("the app") is developed and maintained by an independent developer
("we", "us"). This policy explains how the app handles information. In
short: **Convertexa does not collect, store, or share any personal data.**
## Summary
- No account or sign-in of any kind.
- No personal data is collected, transmitted, or sold.
- No analytics, advertising, or third-party tracking SDKs.
- No internet connection is required or used — the app works fully offline.
- All app data (your favorites, conversion history, and theme preference)
is stored locally on your device only, using Android's standard local
app storage.
## What data the app stores, and where
Convertexa lets you save favorite conversions, view recent conversion
history, and choose a light/dark theme. This information is stored only
in local storage on your device (via Android's `SharedPreferences`
mechanism). It is:
- Never transmitted off your device.
- Never visible to us, the developer, or any third party.
- Removed automatically if you uninstall the app, or manually if you
clear the app's data/history from within Settings or your device's
app settings.
## Permissions
Convertexa does not request access to your camera, microphone, location,
contacts, storage, or any other sensitive device permission. The app does
not use the internet permission, since it performs all conversions
on-device and never makes network requests.
## Third-party services
Convertexa does not integrate any third-party analytics, advertising,
crash-reporting, or data-collection services.
## Children's privacy
Convertexa does not knowingly collect any information from anyone,
including children, because it does not collect information at all. The
app is rated for Everyone and is safe for all ages, and complies with
the Google Play Families Policy and COPPA by virtue of collecting no
data whatsoever.
## Your rights and control over your data
Because nothing is collected or transmitted, there is no remote account
or server-side record to request, export, or delete. Everything the app
stores lives in local app storage on your device, and you're always in
full control of it:
- **View or reuse it:** from the Favorites and History tabs.
- **Delete part of it:** remove individual favorites with the star
toggle, or clear all history from Settings → Clear conversion history.
- **Delete all of it:** uninstall the app — Android removes all of its
local storage automatically.
This satisfies data-access and data-deletion rights under regulations
such as GDPR and CCPA, since no personal data is collected or retained
outside your device in the first place.
## Changes to this policy
If this policy ever changes (for example, if a future version of the app
adds an optional feature that involves data handling), the updated policy
will be published at the same location and the "Effective date" above
will be updated. Material changes will also be reflected in the app's
Play Store listing.
