Privacy Policy for QuickShine Converter
Last Updated: July 14, 2026
At QuickShine, we are committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains our practices regarding data collection and usage for the QuickShine mobile application.
1. Information We Collect
QuickShine is an offline-first Unit and Currency Converter with an integrated math scratchpad.
- We DO NOT collect, store, transmit, or share any personal information, usage data, or device information.
- We DO NOT use any tracking cookies, analytics SDKs (such as Firebase or Google Analytics), or external API calls.
- All conversions, settings, custom exchange rates, and scratchpad history are stored locally in the volatile memory of your device or in local persistent storage (shared preferences) controlled entirely by you.
2. Data Security
Because all your data is stored locally on your device, the security of your data depends on the security of your physical device. We recommend using device-level security controls (e.g., passcodes, biometrics) to secure your device.
3. External APIs and Network Communications
QuickShine runs entirely offline. It does not make any requests to external servers, external databases, or third-party networks. Therefore, your network traffic and data remain completely private and isolated on your device.
4. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. Since the app is offline-first and doesn't communicate with us, we will notify you of any changes by updating the "Last Updated" date at the top of this document or within the app's settings/about menu in future updates.
5. Contact Us
If you have any questions or suggestions about our Privacy Policy, do not hesitate to contact us
