Unit Converter does not require an account and does not collect conversion values, results, raw searches, clipboard contents, favorites, or history for analytics.
When analytics is enabled, Firebase Analytics and Crashlytics may process app version, coarse device class, category identifiers, approved product-flow events, and crash diagnostics. Analytics starts enabled only after an in-app disclosure is shown on first launch; the user can opt out there or at any time in Settings. Opting out disables both analytics and crash-report collection.
Favorites, history, preferences, and cached ECB reference rates are stored locally. Private-session conversions and conversions made while history is disabled are not saved. “Delete all local data” removes the local database and preferences and resets the analytics identity.
Android backup includes non-sensitive preferences only, including the user's analytics opt-in choice and disclosure state. History, cached rates, databases, caches, temporary files, and Firebase-generated identifiers are excluded.
The app connects over HTTPS to the European Central Bank’s public daily reference-rate endpoint. It has no custom backend, advertising SDK, authentication, billing, or dangerous permissions.
