This Privacy Policy describes how Control Widget: Themes, Panels (the “App,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) handles information when you install, access, or use the App. It also explains the privacy choices and rights that may be available to you.
Please review this Policy before using the App. If you do not agree with these practices, you should discontinue use of the App and remove it from your device.
The App processes limited device, usage, diagnostic, and advertising information to operate and improve its features.
Photos, location, and nearby-device access are optional and are used only when you activate a feature that requires them.
Purchases are handled by the relevant app store or payment provider; we do not receive your full payment-card details.
The free version may display advertisements and use analytics technologies.
You can manage permissions, advertising preferences, subscriptions, and other privacy controls through the App or your device settings.
This Policy applies to information handled through the App, including its themes, wallpapers, widgets, control panels, premium features, support channels, analytics, and advertising services. It does not govern third-party websites, apps, or services that may be linked from the App.
The information processed in a particular session may vary according to your device, operating-system version, region, App version, selected features, permissions, and consent settings.
When the App is used, we and our service providers may automatically process limited technical and activity information, including:
Device manufacturer, model, screen size, and screen density
Operating-system name, version, and build
App version, build number, and software development kit information
Language, country or region, time zone, carrier, and network status
IP address and an approximate location derived from the IP address
Device or advertising identifiers, where allowed by law and device settings
App sessions, timestamps, feature interactions, and screens viewed
Crash logs, performance data, error reports, and other diagnostics
This information helps us maintain functionality, understand feature performance, troubleshoot errors, protect the App, test improvements, and provide a better user experience.
Some features allow you to create a photo widget, personalize a theme, or apply an image as wallpaper. If you use one of these features, the App may ask for permission to access photos or media on your device.
We use this access to display, edit, or apply the specific content you choose. The App does not intentionally alter or delete your personal photos unless you take an action that requires it. When supported by your device, a system photo picker may be used so that you can grant access only to selected images rather than your complete photo library.
If you activate a weather widget or another location-based feature, the App may request approximate or precise location permission so it can provide information relevant to your area. Location permission is optional and is not enabled until you grant it.
You can withdraw this permission in your device settings at any time. Doing so may limit or disable the associated feature. We do not use location information for an unrelated purpose without additional notice or consent where required.
Certain control-panel features may need Nearby Devices or Bluetooth permission to display Bluetooth status or perform a control action that you request. This permission is used for the relevant feature and is not intended to continuously identify or track nearby individuals.
When you contact us, submit feedback, or report a technical issue, we may receive your email address, any name or username you provide, the contents of your message, attachments, and technical details included in a diagnostic report. You provide this information voluntarily, and we use it to respond, investigate problems, and improve the App.
Premium purchases and subscriptions are processed by the applicable app store or payment provider. We may receive limited transaction information—such as a transaction identifier, product purchased, purchase status, or subscription status—to validate access or restore a purchase. We do not directly collect or store your full payment-card number.
Depending on the feature and circumstances, information may be used to:
Deliver themes, widgets, wallpapers, and customization tools
Display user-selected photos and apply selected visual content
Provide weather, Bluetooth, or device-status functions that you activate
Validate purchases, subscriptions, and premium access
Remember preferences and maintain App functionality
Measure App and feature usage
Diagnose crashes, errors, and performance issues
Test and improve features, interface design, and usability
Provide support and respond to communications
Detect misuse, prevent fraud, and address security incidents
Comply with legal obligations and protect our rights, users, and services
We will not use personal information for a materially different purpose without appropriate notice and, when legally required, consent.
The free version of the App may contain advertising. Advertising and analytics providers may process information such as device and advertising identifiers, IP address, approximate location, device characteristics, App activity, ad interactions, crash information, and performance data.
Depending on your location, consent choices, and device settings, advertising may be personalized or non-personalized. We do not intentionally provide advertisers with your name, email address, private photos, or support-message contents for advertising purposes.
We and our providers may use SDKs, local storage, advertising identifiers, pixels, cookies, or comparable technologies to maintain features, save settings, measure performance, prevent fraud, and deliver or evaluate advertisements. Premium access may remove ads, although essential analytics, diagnostics, security, or purchase-verification processing may continue.
Third-party providers handle information under their own privacy notices. You can review Google’s privacy practices through Google Privacy & Terms. Interest-based advertising controls may also be available through the Network Advertising Initiative and the Digital Advertising Alliance.
We may disclose information only as described in this Policy, including to the following recipients:
Operational service providers: Companies that support analytics, advertising, crash reporting, cloud services, purchase verification, customer support, security, or other App operations.
Authorities and legal recipients: Courts, regulators, law-enforcement bodies, or other authorized parties when required by applicable law or a valid legal process.
Safety and rights recipients: Parties involved in investigating fraud or misconduct, responding to a security incident, protecting users, or defending legal rights and property.
Business transaction participants: Buyers, successors, professional advisers, or other participants in a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, asset sale, insolvency, or similar event.
Recipients chosen by you: A third party when you direct, authorize, or consent to the disclosure.
We do not sell personal information in exchange for money. Certain laws may classify some advertising-related disclosures as “sharing” or “targeted advertising.” If those laws apply to you, the controls described below may be used to opt out.
You can manage how the App accesses or processes information by:
Granting, limiting, or revoking Photos, Location, Nearby Devices, and other permissions in device settings
Using the operating system’s photo picker to choose specific images
Changing consent options made available within the App
Resetting or deleting the device advertising identifier
Turning off personalized advertising in Android or iOS privacy settings
Managing or cancelling subscriptions through the store where they were purchased
Uninstalling the App to prevent future collection from that installation
Removing the App does not necessarily delete information already held by us or our providers. Where applicable, you may request deletion by contacting us.
We retain information only for the period reasonably necessary to provide the App, complete the purposes described in this Policy, comply with legal or accounting duties, resolve disputes, prevent abuse, maintain security, and enforce agreements. Depending on the type of information and its purpose, it may later be deleted, aggregated, or anonymized.
We use reasonable administrative, organizational, and technical measures designed to reduce the risk of unauthorized access, loss, misuse, alteration, or disclosure. No electronic storage or transmission system is completely secure, so absolute security cannot be guaranteed.
Information may be handled in a country other than the one in which you live. Where required, we take reasonable steps designed to protect information transferred across borders in accordance with applicable law.
Where applicable, our legal bases for processing may include your consent, performance of a contract, compliance with a legal obligation, protection of vital interests, or our legitimate interests where those interests are not overridden by your rights.
Depending on local law, you may have the right to:
Access personal information held about you
Correct inaccurate or incomplete information
Request deletion of eligible information
Restrict or object to certain processing
Obtain eligible information in a portable format
Withdraw consent when processing relies on consent
File a complaint with the relevant data-protection authority
Withdrawing consent does not affect processing completed before the withdrawal. We may ask for reasonable information to confirm your identity before fulfilling a request.
Subject to applicable exceptions, California residents may have the right to:
Know the categories and specific pieces of personal information collected
Know the sources, business purposes, and categories of recipients associated with that information
Request correction or deletion of eligible personal information
Opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information, including certain cross-context behavioral advertising
Limit certain uses or disclosures of sensitive personal information, where applicable
Exercise privacy rights without receiving discriminatory treatment
We do not sell personal information for monetary payment. If an advertising activity is considered “sharing” under California law, you may use available in-App privacy controls, device advertising settings, or the contact method below to opt out.
We may verify your identity before completing a request. Where permitted, an authorized agent may submit a request on your behalf. The App does not currently respond to browser-based “Do Not Track” signals; recognized opt-out preference signals will be processed where legally required and technically supported.
The App is not intended for children under 13 or below the minimum age established by applicable law. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children without authorization required by law.
If you are a parent or guardian and believe that a child has provided personal information through the App, please email admin@volcanixhk.com. We will review the request and take appropriate action, including deletion when required.
The App may link to content, products, websites, or services operated by third parties. Their privacy and security practices are outside our control. Before using a third-party service, you should review its applicable terms and privacy notice.
We may revise this Privacy Policy when the App, our practices, technology, or legal requirements change. The “Last updated” date will be changed when a new version is published. If applicable law requires additional notice or consent for a material change, we will provide it before the change takes effect.
