The statement has been made since the Supreme court decision of Roe v. Wade that if we have no conscience about the aborting of unborn babies, the time will come when we will also accept the mercy killings of the elderly who are no longer productive.
The 1990's have brought this issue of ethics and morality into full perspective. We as a nation are faced with making a choice as to whether we will condone the taking of a life or go back to the traditional values concerning the sanctity of life, leaving the decision of life and death in the hands of the One who gave it. I sincerely hope that this book will show the danger of taking our lives in our own hands, trying to determine our own destiny, when we should trust the sovereignty of God by allowing Him to work His perfect will in the course of our lives, for His glory.
