Summary: Build Cost Pro stores all of your data only on your own device. We do not collect, transmit, sell, or store your personal data on any server.

Build Cost Pro (“the App”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) is a construction cost calculator and material estimator. This Privacy Policy explains what information the App handles, how it is stored, how long it is kept, and how it can be deleted.

1. Information We Handle

The App is designed to work offline and to keep your information on your device. The information you create in the App may include:

• Project details you enter — project name, country, city, plot size, covered area, number of floors, and material quality.

• Estimates and reports generated from those details — cost breakdowns, material quantities, and labor calculations.

• App preferences — selected country, currency, units, and light/dark theme.

We do not ask for, collect, or require: your name, email, phone number, or contacts; your location (GPS); photos, microphone, camera, or call/SMS data; or any account registration or login.

2. Where Your Data Is Stored

All information above is stored locally on your device using the App’s on-device database and local preferences storage. This data never leaves your device through the App, is not transmitted to us or any third-party server by the App, and is not accessible to us — we have no ability to view, retrieve, or recover it.

3. We Do Not Collect Personal Data

We do not operate analytics, advertising, tracking, or data-collection servers within the App. Because your data stays on your device, we do not create user profiles, share data with advertisers, or sell data to anyone.

4. Third-Party Services

The App may use the following third-party service for an optional feature:

• Google Play Billing — If you purchase the Premium version, the transaction is processed by Google Play. We do not receive or store your payment details (such as card numbers). Google’s handling of that information is governed by Google’s Privacy Policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy

We do not include third-party advertising or analytics SDKs that collect personal data. If this changes in a future version, we will update this Policy and the App’s Data safety section on Google Play before the change takes effect.

5. Permissions

The App requests only the minimum permissions needed for its features. The billing permission is used solely to enable optional in-app purchases through Google Play. The App does not request location, contacts, camera, microphone, or storage permissions to read your personal files.

6. Sharing Reports

When you choose to export or share a PDF report, the report is generated on your device and shared only through the app you select (email, messaging, or file app). You control who receives it. We are not involved in, and do not retain a copy of, anything you share.

7. Data Retention

Because all data is stored locally on your device:

• Your projects, estimates, and preferences are retained on your device for as long as you keep them in the App.

• We do not retain any of your data on our side, because we never receive it. There is no server-side copy and no retention period on our part.

• Generated PDF reports may be temporarily stored in the App’s cache on your device to enable sharing; these can be cleared at any time (see Data Deletion).

8. Data Deletion

You are always in full control of your data and can delete it at any time:

• Delete individual projects: Open a project and use the Delete option. This permanently removes that project and its estimate data from your device.

• Delete all App data: Go to device Settings → Apps → Build Cost Pro → Storage → “Clear storage” / “Clear data”. This permanently erases all projects, estimates, preferences, and cached reports.

• Uninstall the App: Uninstalling Build Cost Pro removes all data the App stored on your device.

Because we do not hold any copy of your data, deleting it on your device deletes it completely. No separate request is needed to have us erase server data, as no such server data exists.

9. Children’s Privacy

The App is intended for a general audience and is not directed to children under the age required by your local law for consent. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Since the App does not collect personal data, no such information is gathered from any user.

10. Security

Your data is protected by your device’s own security features (screen lock and operating-system app sandboxing). Because data is kept on your device and not transmitted by the App, the risk of interception in transit is minimized. We encourage you to secure your device with a passcode or biometric lock.

11. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, reflect the changes in the App’s Google Play Data safety section. Continued use of the App after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Policy.
