Connie Lim是一位來自加州洛杉磯的專業插畫家兼設計師。
目前是倫敦時尚學院、聖馬丁中央藝術學院、劍橋教育藝術學院的講師，專注於美麗插畫，磨鍊畫時尚人像的技巧。她的客戶包括Bulgari,Guerlain,Revlon,和Louboutin。並參與了許多畫廊展出和全球的裝置藝術。
她畢業於兩所名校：加州帕薩迪納的藝術中心設計學院及倫敦中央聖馬丁藝術與設計學院。 作為一位專攻時尚的藝術家，她將自己的熱情融入插畫，創造出獨特、引人入勝的畫面。她的作品大多以傳統手繪風格為主，且大多受到暗黑的美麗題材影響。
她的代表作時尚撲克系列（Fashion Playing Cards)，Connie力圖在她的角色之中帶入情緒，激起大眾的反應，以時尚作為主要舞台。
Her work is an exploration of traditional hand drawing and is most always influenced by dark beautiful subjects.
Connie is currently a lecturer at London College of Fashion and short lecturer at Central Saint Martins and at Cambridge University of Visual & Performin21g Arts.
Her client list includes Bulgari, Guerlain, Revlon, and Louboutin, as well as being involved in many gallery work and installations globally.
Mostly known for her fashion playing cards, Connie strives to create emotions within her characters to evoke a reaction form the audience using fashion as the main platform.

今年我們也邀請聖馬丁學院講師－Connie Lim，為我們帶來更多創意發想，透過教學讓我們更了解時尚插畫與所謂的時尚。
此次課程為Connie老師第一次來台教授—實驗性時尚藝術工作坊
課程為期三天，總時數為9小時，參與之學員皆有乙張結業證書（全英文證書，將由講師親筆簽名），課程將有助教協助翻譯，無英文基礎也可參與課程唷！
我們將準備所有材料與立體深框，在本次課程中老師會教授人物與飾品繪畫，引導學生自行創作出屬於自己的時尚場景與人物，創作完成還能做為擺飾或掛於牆面展示。
This year, we also invite the lecturer from Central Saint Martin ,Connie Lim, to bring more creative ideas and teach us how to know fashion illustrations better ! This workshop is about experimental fashion art. It's a three-day workshop, total 9 hours, and you'll get a certificate of completion ( English form and signed by Connie Lim). During the courses, there will be assistant as translator, so students who is not good at English is also welcome!We’ll prepare all the materials and frames that students can create their own scene of their fashion world and take home to put on table or hang on walls as an art decoration.About the lecture 關於講座

此次特別加開講座課程，聖馬丁藝術學院的Connie老師來闡述「英國的時尚插畫產業」，以及她對於這份工作的想法，同時將給欲投入時尚與插畫產業的學員建議，在講座中她還會介紹她的藝術創作與商業合作案例，分享在藝術學院如何教授時尚設計與時尚插畫這門課，最後將給學員問與答的時間跟老師進行交流討論，歡迎對時尚、插畫或是欲出國進修相關科系的學員一同參與。
本課程的簡報將會給予學生紙本並附中文翻譯，課程不會有逐步口譯，學員需擁有基本聽力，課程也將有助教在旁，若有問題可隨時尋求幫助。
講座課程為兩小時，完課將授與結業證明（全英文證書，將由講師親筆簽名）。
Connie will talk about the fashion illustration industry in UK , the opinions toward it, and the advices and tips for people who wants to devote to it . She will also show her art works and business cooperations, and a short brief of what and how she teaches in courses. The Powerpoint for this lecture will be translated in Chinese on papers to give students as worksheets. Students are required to have basic English listening, there won’t be translator doing consecutive interpreting during the lecture, but if students have any questions, the assistant can help. Total 2 hours, and you'll get a certificate of completion ( English form and signed by Connie Lim).
