You may be here, but where is that? The disruptions and dislocations of the past few years have shown us that where we are can have profound impacts on where we’re going. This year, let’s consider where we’ve been, where we find ourselves now, and where we plan to go.

We invite you to explore the implications of our physical or virtual spaces. This could be in regard to decolonization; wellness initiatives that stress presence and groundedness; attempts to engage our users in their own journeys navigating our resources; or any other aspect of our past, current or future work.

While we can’t promise any signpost as straightforward and reassuring as the classic You Are Here* map symbol, we hope this journey will inspire productive discussions as we move ahead.

Connect5 seeks to strengthen the network between GTA librarians, library technicians and staff at Centennial, George Brown, Humber, Seneca and Sheridan College. Our goals are to share strategies and resources, explore opportunities and challenges, and create a support network among GTA college libraries and staff.
