The Focus Cape
This project was developed as part of the University of Pittsburgh Swanson School of Engineering course ENGR 1 716 The Art of Making: An Introduction to Hands- On System Design and Engineering.
The Problem
Students often study in open spaces, where people can freely approach them regardless of what they are doing. This can lead to unwanted interruptions and a disruption to study flow.
What it does
Allows Users to Visually Indicate to Others wether They are Approachable while they study
Offers a sliding scale of colors, for varying types of focus
Provides on spot audio motivation from David Goggins
