Preparation for Installation

Materials Needed:

A computer or virtual machine
A bootable USB drive (containing the OS installation files)
Backup of important files (if needed)
Access to BIOS/UEFI settings

Instructions:

Backup your Data:
- Before proceeding with the installation, ensure that you have backed up all important data from your current operating system, as the installation may erase everything on the disk.
Create a Bootable USB Drive:
- If you don’t already have a bootable USB with an OS, use tools like Rufus (for Windows) or Balena Etcher (for Linux) to create one. Download the ISO image of the OS you want to install (Windows, Linux, etc.) and create the bootable USB drive.
Access BIOS/UEFI:
- Restart your computer and enter the BIOS/UEFI settings (typically by pressing a key such as F2, Del, or ESC during boot).
- In the BIOS, change the boot order so that the computer will boot from the USB drive first
