I am an assistant professor of Electrical and Electronic Engineering at Inha University. I earned my Ph.D. in Computer Sciences from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
My research interests include computational imaging, computer vision, computational photography, and machine learning. The goal of my research is to design practical imaging systems capable of capturing scene information that cannot be obtained with conventional cameras. My work focuses on jointly optimizing light sources, sensors, and computational algorithms to robustly estimate scene properties, such as 3D geometry, 3D motion, and fluorescence lifetime, under challenging conditions.
