In 2004, while providing student services in senior years as tutor and lab demonstrator, David Turner graduated from university with a Bachelor of Science and Business with Honours in Computer Science. With business background including economics, accounting, law, and small business management, he founded ComputaBloke Enterprises to offer web-site development and IT services to small businesses around Adelaide.

Bringing a passion for solving problems and broad business and technology acumen, David has since been principally engaged in small collaborative teams across industries including: med-tech, insurance, financial, automotive and government. David has also contributed to several open-source community projects.

In a technical capacity, David is a senior systems admin and full stack software engineer, specialising in enterprise Web, Java, .Net and Systems programming but adept in server, databases, and devops. Increasingly, solutions requiring business transformation now also incorporate the benefits of hybrid cloud, PaaS and SaaS. David's current role is Solutions architect, which additionally incorporates digital solutions consulting, strategy and planning.

Such roles require adaptability, integrity and drive, with excellent communication and presentation skills to engineer solutions to high standard while balancing commercial realities of resource, time or budget. In any bespoke solution, documentation is always a priority for enduring maintenance and support.
