Compressly Privacy Policy

Compressly is a storage management and file compression application designed to help users understand their device storage, identify unnecessary files, manage files, and compress images and videos.
1. Information We Collect
Compressly does not collect, upload, sell, or transmit your personal files or personal information to our servers.
The current version of Compressly does not require account registration and does not use advertising or analytics services.
2. Storage Access
Compressly may request access to files and folders stored on your device so that storage-management features can operate.
These features include Large Files, Duplicate Files, Downloads, Junk Files, Storage Analyzer, Smart Clean, Image Compression, and Video Compression.
File scanning and processing are performed locally on your device.
3. All Files Access
On supported Android versions, Compressly may request Android's "All files access" permission.
This permission is used for core storage-management functionality, including locating, reviewing, and managing supported files stored across shared device storage.
Compressly does not upload your files to a remote server.
You may disable this permission at any time through Android Settings. Features that require storage access may stop working if the permission is disabled.
4. File Deletion
Where applicable, Compressly lets you review and select files before deleting them.
Compressly does not automatically delete personal files without user action.
Users should review selected files before confirming deletion.
5. Image and Video Compression
Images and videos selected for compression are processed locally on your device.
Compressly creates a separate compressed output and does not modify the original file as part of the compression process.
6. Installed Applications
Compressly may display information about user-installed applications for app-management features.
This information is processed locally on the device and is not uploaded, sold, or shared with us.
Actions such as opening App Info or requesting application removal are handled through Android system screens.
7. Sharing Files
When you choose the Share feature, Android lets you select another application or service to receive the selected file.
Compressly does not automatically share your files with third parties.
Any information you intentionally share through another application is subject to that application's own privacy practices.
8. Third-Party Services
The current version of Compressly does not use advertising or analytics services that collect user information.
If third-party services are added in a future version, this Privacy Policy and the Google Play Data Safety information will be updated as required.
9. Data Retention
Compressly does not maintain a remote database containing your personal files or personal information.
Files created or managed by the app remain on your device unless you choose to delete or share them.
10. Security
Compressly is designed to process storage information and media files locally on your device.
Users should keep their Android device and applications updated to help protect their files and device information.
11. Children's Privacy
Compressly does not knowingly collect personal information from children.
12. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy when Compressly's functionality, permissions, or third-party services change.
Any updated policy will display a revised "Last updated" date.
