Overview
Compressible Flow Calculator ("the App") is a free, offline engineering reference tool for computing isentropic flow, normal shock, oblique shock, Fanno flow, and Rayleigh flow relations. This Privacy Policy explains how the App handles user data.
Data Collection
The App does not collect, store, transmit, or share any personal data.
Specifically, the App:
- Does not require account creation or login
- Does not request any device permissions (no location, camera, microphone, contacts, storage, or network access permissions)
- Does not connect to the internet or any external server
- Does not use analytics, advertising, or tracking SDKs
- Does not use cookies or similar tracking technologies
- Does not collect device identifiers, usage statistics, or crash reports
How the App Works
All calculations are performed entirely on your device using values you manually enter into the input fields. No data you enter — gamma values, Mach numbers, or any other input — ever leaves your device. Nothing is saved between sessions; closing the App clears all entered values.
The App's "Scratch Pad" feature is a native on-device calculator; it does not use a WebView or load any content from the internet.
Third-Party Services
The App does not integrate with any third-party services, SDKs, or APIs.
The only exception is an optional "Rate This App!" menu item, which, if tapped, opens the Google Play Store listing for this App using your device's default mechanism for handling such links. This action is initiated only when you choose to tap it, and is subject to Google Play's own privacy policy, not this one.
Children's Privacy
The App does not knowingly collect any information from anyone, including children under 13, because it does not collect information from anyone at all.
Changes to This Policy
If this policy changes in the future (for example, if a future version of the App adds features that require data collection), an updated version will be posted here with a revised "Last updated" date, and the change will be reflected in the App's Play Store listing.
