Les Houches is a village located in Chamonix valley, in the French Alps. Established in 1951, the Physics School is situated at 1150 m above sea level in natural surroundings, with breathtaking views on the Mont-Blanc mountain range.

Les Houches Physics School is UMS 2002 run by Université Grenoble Alpes (UGA). The 5 school partners of are UGA, the Centre National de la Recherche Scientifique (CNRS), the Commissariat à l’Energie Atomique (CEA), the Institut National Polytechnique (Grenoble-INP), and the Ecole Normale Supérieure de Lyon (ENS Lyon).

It can be easily reached either by plane from Geneva airport or by train from Les Houches main railway station (various fast train from Paris)

Les Houches is also easily accessible from France (A41 highway), from Switzerland (Martigny and Col des Montets) and from Italy through the Mont Blanc Tunnel. Geneva Airport is 1 hour drive from les Houches. Detailed access information information can be found here.

The school registration fees include accommodation in single rooms (few double rooms for couples are available).

Accommodation will be booked for admitted participants automatically by the Organisers.

The Cost of the workshop is to be announced. That is computed to cover the full board accomodation.
