Welcome to PDF Reader - Viewer & Tools (“the App”, “we”, “us”, or “our”).
The App is developed by Oneisok OPC Pvt Ltd for Android devices. Its package name is com.pdf.reader.viewer.filetools.
This document contains the Privacy Policy and Terms of Service that apply to your use of the App.
By downloading, installing, or using the App, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to this document. If you do not agree with it, please stop using and uninstall the App.
1. Local Processing and Security Principles
PDF Reader - Viewer & Tools is a PDF and file management tool designed primarily for local processing.
No Cloud File Storage
The App does not provide personal cloud file storage. PDF, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, image, and other files that you import are generally accessed, processed, and saved on your device.
Features such as Image to PDF, PDF to Image, scanning, editing, encryption, decryption, merging, and splitting are primarily performed locally on your device.
File Contents Are Not Uploaded for Processing
Unless a specific feature clearly informs you otherwise and obtains any required authorization, the App does not upload the contents of your personal PDF, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, image, or other documents to our servers for processing.
File Security Is Controlled by the User
Because files are primarily stored on your device, you are responsible for backing up, saving, and managing important files, including passwords used for encrypted files.
If your device is damaged, lost, or affected by system or storage problems, files may become inaccessible or lost.
2. App Features
Depending on your device, Android version, and App version, the App may provide the following features:
- PDF file viewing;
- Word file viewing;
- Excel file viewing;
- PowerPoint file viewing;
- Image viewing;
- File search;
- Recent files;
- File favorites and bookmarks;
- PDF to Image;
- Image to PDF;
- Scanning documents and creating PDF files;
- PDF editing;
- PDF encryption;
- PDF decryption;
- PDF merging;
- PDF splitting;
- File management;
- Other PDF and document-related functions.
The App does not require users to register or log in to use its basic features.
3. Permissions and Their Purposes
To provide file management, document processing, and scanning features, the App may request the following permissions.
3.1 All Files Access Permission
The App may request Android’s All Files Access permission, also known as MANAGE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE.
This permission may be used to:
- Scan supported files on your device storage;
- Find and display PDF, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, image, and other supported files;
- Search user files;
- Open files selected by the user;
- Encrypt, decrypt, merge, and split PDF files;
- Read, manage, and save files;
- Save files generated or modified by the App.
The App does not use this permission for purposes unrelated to file reading, file management, or document processing.
You may grant, deny, or revoke this permission through your Android device settings. Denying this permission may prevent file scanning, file search, or certain document-processing features from working properly.
3.2 Camera Permission
When you use the scanning feature, the App may request camera permission.
Camera permission is used only to capture paper documents and create PDF files. The App does not access your camera unless you actively use the scanning feature and grant the required permission.
You may deny or revoke camera permission through your device settings. If camera access is disabled, scanning may not be available, while other App features may continue to work.
3.3 Foreground Service Permission
When you actively perform file conversion, PDF encryption, decryption, editing and saving, merging, splitting, or other continuous processing tasks, the App may use an Android foreground service.
The foreground service helps prevent the operating system from terminating the task while files are being processed and helps ensure that user-initiated file operations can be completed reliably.
During processing, the App may display a foreground service notification. The foreground service stops when the task is completed, fails, or is canceled.
The App does not use the foreground service for background tracking, location access, advertising, analytics, or purposes unrelated to file processing.
4. Information Collected by Third-Party Services
To support advertising, app analytics, crash reporting, performance optimization, and app stability, the App may use third-party services, including:
- Google AdMob;
- Mintegral;
- AppLovin;
- Firebase;
- Other necessary advertising, analytics, diagnostic, or technical services.
These third-party services may process the following information according to their own privacy policies:
- Device model;
- Android system version;
- App version;
- Advertising identifiers, such as the Google Advertising ID;

Where required by law, the App may display privacy settings or personalized advertising consent interfaces.
You may manage advertising preferences, reset your advertising identifier, or limit personalized advertising through App settings, Android settings, or applicable account settings.
We do not sell the contents of your personal documents to advertisers.

The App does not sell the contents of users’ personal documents.

Because documents are primarily processed and stored locally, you control how long files and related content remain on your device.
Generally:
- Imported files remain on your device until you delete or move them;
- Files generated or modified by the App are saved in the location you select;
- Bookmarks, favorites, and recent file records may be stored locally;
- Clearing App data or uninstalling the App may remove certain local records;
- Technical information collected by third-party services is retained according to their respective privacy policies and legal requirements.
We do not permanently retain the contents of your personal documents for document-processing purposes.
9. Information Security
We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information processed by the App.
Because most file processing takes place locally, your personal documents generally remain under your control on your device.
However, no electronic storage method, software system, or network transmission can guarantee absolute security. You should regularly back up important files and protect your PDF passwords and other security credentials.
10. Children’s Privacy
The App is a general-purpose PDF and file utility. The minimum age for using the App is 12 years old.
Children under 12 years old must not use the App.
If we discover or become aware that information has been collected from a child in violation of applicable law, we will take reasonable steps to delete that information.
If you believe that a child’s information has been processed improperly, please contact us using the information below.
11. User Choices and Controls
Depending on your device, Android version, location, and applicable law, you may be able to:
- Grant or deny App permissions;
- Revoke previously granted permissions;
- Manage All Files Access;
- Disable camera permission;
- Manage your advertising identifier;
- Limit personalized advertising;
- Delete relevant files from your device;
- Clear App data;
- Uninstall the App.
If you deny a permission required for a specific feature, that feature may not function properly.

The App may display third-party advertisements or use third-party services to provide certain functions.
