2. Local Document Handling
PDFora is designed to work with files stored on the user’s device. File viewing, sorting, bookmarking, conversion, merging, splitting, locking, and unlocking are performed locally on the device.
We do not upload users’ PDF files, Office documents, images, local file contents, bookmarked file lists, or converted output files to our own servers.
Files created, selected, opened, converted, merged, split, locked, unlocked, or saved through the App remain on the user’s device unless the user deletes them, clears app data, or uninstalls the App.
3. Information That May Be Processed
PDFora does not collect account usernames, passwords, or account profile data because the App does not provide account registration or login.
To keep the App working, improve stability, understand basic usage, and display advertisements, the App or third-party SDKs integrated into the App may process limited information, including:
- Device information, such as device model, Android version, app version, and language settings
- App activity, such as feature interactions, page views, and basic usage events
- Diagnostic information, such as error logs, crash reports, and performance data
- Advertising ID, used for advertising, ad measurement, and fraud prevention
- IP address, used for network communication, security, analytics, advertising, and related services
PDFora does not actively collect the contents of users’ PDF files, Office documents, images, or other local files.
4. Permissions
PDFora may request permissions needed for its document and PDF tool features.
File or storage access:
Used to display local files, organize files by type, open selected files, manage bookmarks, convert files, merge or split PDF files, lock or unlock supported PDF files, and save output files.
All files access, where applicable:
Used only for core document management features that require users to locate, browse, and manage supported document files across local device storage. This permission is not used to collect unrelated personal data or upload user files to our servers.
Internet access:
Used for advertisements, Firebase services, diagnostics, crash reporting, basic analytics, and related network services.
Notification access:
Used, where applicable, to show file processing status or app-related notifications.
These permissions are used only for disclosed App functions. They are not used to collect unrelated personal data or transfer user documents to developer-owned servers.
5. Third-Party SDKs and Services
PDFora uses Firebase and Google AdMob.
Firebase may be used for analytics, diagnostics, crash reporting, and app performance monitoring.
Google AdMob may be used to display advertisements, measure ad performance, prevent ad fraud, and support advertising-related services.
These services may process device information, app activity, diagnostic data, crash logs, Advertising ID, IP address, analytics data, and advertising-related data according to their own privacy policies.

6. Advertising
PDFora may display advertisements through Google AdMob.
Ads may be personalized or non-personalized depending on the user’s region, consent choices, applicable laws, and device settings.
Users can manage or reset their Advertising ID through Android device settings.
7. Data Sharing
We do not sell personal information.
We do not share users’ PDF files, Office documents, images, local file contents, bookmarked file lists, or converted files with third parties.
Third-party SDKs may process limited technical, diagnostic, analytics, and advertising-related data only as needed for advertising, analytics, diagnostics, crash reporting, security, and compliance purposes.
8. Data Retention and Deletion
User files are stored locally on the user’s device. PDFora does not keep copies of user files on developer-owned servers.
Users may delete local files through the App, their device file manager, or Android storage settings. Users may also clear app data or uninstall the App to remove locally stored app data, depending on device settings.
Because PDFora does not provide an account system, we do not maintain user accounts that require account deletion.
Data processed by Firebase, Google AdMob, or related Google services may be retained according to their own retention policies.
For privacy-related questions or requests, users may contact us at zainfrom23@gmail.com.
9. Children’s Privacy
PDFora is intended for users aged 13 and older. The App is not directed to children under 13.
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If a parent or guardian believes that a child under 13 has provided personal information through the App, please contact us at zainfrom23@gmail.com.
10. Security
We take reasonable measures to protect information handled by the App and to limit unnecessary data processing.
However, no method of electronic storage, device processing, or Internet transmission is completely secure. Because document processing is performed locally on the user’s device, user files are not uploaded to our own servers for processing.
11. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time due to changes in App features, legal requirements, or third-party services.
When this Privacy Policy is updated, the new version will show a revised effective date. Users are encouraged to review this Privacy Policy periodically.
