PDF Craft - Reader & Tools (“the App,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled when you use the App.
1. App Functionality
PDF Craft - Reader & Tools is a PDF conversion and document management tool for users aged 13 and older.
The App allows users to browse local files, search files, view recent files, bookmark files, import files, scan documents to PDF, convert images to PDF, convert PDF pages to images, protect PDF files, unlock supported PDF files when the user is authorized and provides the correct password, merge PDF files, and split PDF files.
The App does not require account registration or login.
2. Local File Processing
File browsing, scanning, PDF conversion, merging, splitting, protection, unlocking, and related document processing features are performed locally on your device.
We do not upload your PDF files, images, scanned documents, document contents, or generated files to our own servers for processing.
Files created, converted, scanned, opened, or saved through the App remain on your device until you delete them.
3. Information We May Collect
The App does not collect account usernames or passwords because it does not provide account registration or login.
The App and third-party services integrated into the App may process the following information:
- Device information, such as device model, operating system version, app version, and language settings
- App usage data, such as feature usage and app interactions
- Log and diagnostic data, such as error logs, crash logs, and performance information
- Advertising ID, used for advertising, ad measurement, and fraud prevention
- IP address, used for network communication, security, analytics, advertising, and related services
We do not actively collect the contents of your PDF files, documents, scanned files, images, or local files.
4. Permissions
The App may request certain permissions to provide its core features:
File or storage access:
Used to browse, open, import, convert, merge, split, protect, unlock, and save local files selected by the user.
Camera access:
Used only when you choose to scan documents or capture images for PDF creation.
Internet access:
Used for advertising, diagnostics, crash reporting, analytics, and related network services.
Notification access:
Used, where applicable, to show file processing status or app-related notifications.
These permissions are used only to support App functionality. They are not used to collect unrelated personal data or upload user files to our servers.
5. Third-Party Services
The App uses third-party services, including Firebase and Google AdMob.
Firebase may be used for analytics, diagnostics, crash reporting, and app performance monitoring.
Google AdMob may be used to display advertisements and measure ad performance.

6. Advertising
The App displays advertisements through Google AdMob.
Ads may be personalized or non-personalized depending on your region, consent choices, applicable laws, and device settings.
You can manage or reset your Advertising ID through your Android device settings.

We do not sell your personal information.
We do not share your PDF files, document contents, scanned documents, images, or converted files with third parties.
Third-party SDKs such as Firebase and Google AdMob may process limited technical, diagnostic, analytics, and advertising-related data as described in this Privacy Policy.
8. Data Retention and Deletion
Files opened, created, scanned, converted, or saved through the App are stored locally on your device and remain there until you delete them.
The App does not provide account registration, so we do not maintain user accounts.
You may delete local files through the App, your device file manager, or Android storage settings. You may also uninstall the App or clear app data through your device settings.
Analytics, advertising, log, diagnostic, and crash data may be retained by Firebase, Google AdMob, and related Google services according to their own retention policies.

9. Children’s Privacy
The App is intended for users aged 13 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
