The 9th International Workshop on Computing and Networking for IoT and Beyond

January 4, 2020 | Hotel Hindustan International, Kolkata, India

About the Workshop

In most IoT related academic gatherings, the primary focus is given to either communication & networking protocols or the data analytics. However, both of them are together forms an IoT subsystem. At ComNet-IoT, we focus on micro to large scale IoT ecosystems that encompasses both the communication for data gathering and data analytics for smart decision making. Moreover, we have brought in the other aspects of IoT and Industry 4.0 that are becoming increasingly important – such as sensor data analytics, participatory sensing models and methods, middleware architecture and techniques, human behaviour modelling, etc. Also, the ComNet-IoT workshop always had a good participation from industry with a focus on real-life problem solving.

Encouraged by the great success of the previous eight editions of ComNet-IoT, the goal of ComNet-IoT 2020 is to provide an inter-disciplinary platform for researchers to exchange ideas, present results, share experience, stimulate new research, and foster collaborations among researchers, professionals, and application developers on the various aspects of computing, networking, information and distributed systems technologies for the evolving Internet of Things, Industry 4.0 and Tactile Internet, including back-end infrastructure such as the Cloud and Fog/Edge networks.
