Lisa Taylor is the Community Relations Coordinator for Virginia Career Works & WIOA. She has been with workforce development for over 18 years.

She has extensive experience in human services. Lisa serves as an effective outreach liaison between Virginia Career Works, jobseekers, individual clients, partners, the business community, and various agencies.

Virginia Career Works Hampton Center serves over 25,000 jobseekers and over 400 employers annually, preparing jobseekers for employment and matching skills with workforce needs.

During her husband’s 31 years in the Navy, Lisa has been a volunteer and supporting the Military and their families. She was a Navy Command Ombudsman for two aircraft carriers and was the COMNAVAIRLANT FORCE Ombudsman for two Admirals.

Her greatest passion besides her family is “helping others”! You have true success in life when you get paid for something that you love to do!
