Dr. Camille Carson is a Pediatric Psychology Fellow with the Children's Specialty Group within Children's Hospital of the King's Daughters. She is a May 2020 graduate of Virginia State University with a degree in Clinical Health Psychology. At CHKD, Dr. Carson works on the Consultation and Liaison team providing mental health services to pediatric patients who are inpatient for medically complex needs, conducts individual and family therapy, and psychological assessments with children and adolescents. Her clinical interests include working with black children and adolescents and pediatric chronic pain. Dr. Carson enjoys advocating for marginalized communities and providing education to parents, families, and social supports for children struggling with their mental health.
