06 December 2021
Dear SDIMS Families,
We would like to wish you and your family a blessed and healthy Christmas season! As we are nearing the end of the Second Quarter, here are some important reminders on our upcoming activities to keep you guided.
There will be No Classes on December 8, 2021, Wednesday as this was declared as a Special (Non-Working) Day under proclamation number 986 to commemorate the feast of the Immaculate Conception of Mary. All offices will be closed on this day as well. We encourage everyone to make use of this day to review as Second Quarter exams are coming up.
In celebration of our Lord Jesus Christ’s birth, we will be having an Online Christmas Party on December 17, 2020 (Friday). The party will be held inside your child’s KindrEd classroom during regular school hours after the exams. There will be fun activities for children to enjoy. Since the Christmas party this year is virtual, we would like your child to wear anything that has the color of Christmas (Red or Green) this year. They may also wear headbands/headdresses that have a Christmas theme.
There will be no exchange gift among our students. However, if you wish to shower your school friends or our teachers with some tokens of love, we highly recommend that you consider sustainable gifting. Sustainable gifting is about giving something you know the recipient will actually use and being mindful of producing any possible waste that could harm our planet. Please consider gift items that are eco-friendly, package-free or less packaging, and bought from small local businesses. You may also want to consider sending e-cash or vouchers so the recipients can choose the items that they actually need.
Quality education is one of the best gifts you can give your child this Christmas Season. We’ll make it easy for you by giving you a 20% tuition fee discount when you enroll your child until December 15, 2021. This offer is for the FIRST 10 ENROLLEES ONLY! Terms & Conditions apply.
Our book fair is still up! You may still complete your Christmas shopping in the comfort of your own home by placing an order through our Reading Month partners, Pumple Pie and OMF.
For this month’s Global Changemakers Program, we are partnering with Solana Greens. Solana Greens kits provide a hands-on experience for children on how to grow their own healthy food sustainably through the Microgreen kits. These Microgreen kits also make a perfect gift to loved ones both kids and adults alike. You may order Microgreens kits through our online store:
Thank you for participating in our November Global Changemakers Program. You may send your donations to Sari Cycling Directly through their drop-off location. Don’t forget to submit the photos of your segregated donations (textiles, plastics) to your child’s teacher as this would count as their Global Changemakers Program Participation for November on or before December 17, 2021.
Please be reminded that the school and offices will be closed from December 18, 2021- January 4, 2021. Classes will resume on January 5, 2022 (Wednesday). Please make sure to settle your obligations before the office closes to avoid any inconvenience and penalties that might incur.
We would like to remind parents, especially those in the HSP program that the deadline for submitting Gradesheets and Learning Activities through Google Keep will be on January 3, 2022 (Monday).
Should you have any questions or clarifications, please don’t hesitate to send us an email at studentdeskims@gmail.com or contact us at 09569304476(Globe or TM) / 09234505600 (Sun or Smart).
Thank you very much!
All the best,
