A cluster of events at the 2026 Joint Math Meetings to promote and develop communication
Over three days of the Joint Math Meetings, this thematic cluster will give mathematicians from all backgrounds, career stages and fields a chance to discuss, probe, and improve the many ways we communicate with diverse audiences: from experts and peers in our research areas, to our students and mentees, our colleagues and administrators in our universities or workplaces, and the broader public.
Events range from panel discussions on new directions and good practices in publications, math conferences and education, to hands-on workshops, to "office hour" style discussions with great communicators.
