The Collective for Multimodal Makers, Publishers, Collaborators, and Teachers (CoMMPCT) is committed to creating spaces to discuss less visible elements of making, publishing, collaborating, and teaching visual and multimodal anthropologies and collecting shared wisdom and experiences in an online curated repository. 

Founded in 2023 by Nat Nesvaderani, Stephanie Sadre-Orafai, Emiko Stock, and Gabriela Zamorano Villarreal, CoMMPCT will coordinate tri-annual, thematic virtual events and publish accompanying curated resources. 

These events and collections will leverage other Society for Visual Anthropology initiatives, like the Visual Research Conference, Film and Media Festival, Visual Anthropology Review, and AAA Annual Meeting program, amplifying their reach.
