eSwatini struggles beneath its burden of poverty. The HIV/AIDS epidemic has wrought havoc, with orphans and vulnerable children now accounting for an estimated 15% of the population. Numerous non-governmental organisations (NGOs), from international bodies to local grassroots charities, are today working to help the most vulnerable in society.

The mission of Swaziland Relief is to partner with indigenous leaders to provide short-term aid and long-term relief to the orphans and AIDS victims of eSwatini through community development consisting of building and running health clinics and schools, developing clean water sources, and providing resources to start small businesses.
