Your privacy is of utmost importance to us. This Privacy Policy explains how we ("us," or "our") handles information in connection with the Colorvid mobile application (the "App").
Our fundamental principle is to collect no personal data, ensuring your spiritual practice remains a private and personal experience. This policy is designed to be transparent about what data the app stores and how it functions.
2. Information We Do Not Collect
We are committed to your privacy and have designed our App to function without collecting any Personally Identifiable Information (PII). We do not collect, store, transmit, or have access to:
Your name, email address, phone number, or any other contact information.
Your precise or approximate location data.
Your contacts, calendar, microphone, or other files on your device.
Any usage analytics, app crash reports, or performance data that is tied to you personally.
Device identifiers (like IDFA) or IP addresses.
3. Information Stored Locally on Your Device
To provide a seamless and personalized experience, the App stores some non-personal data directly and only on your device. This data is never transmitted to us or any third party.
This information is stored using standard iOS features (UserDefaults) and is solely used to ensure the app remembers your settings between sessions. If you delete the app, this data is also deleted.
4. In-App Purchases and Subscriptions
Our App offers optional auto-renewing subscriptions (weekly, monthly, yearly) to unlock premium "Pro" features. All financial transactions are processed securely through the Apple App Store.
We do not collect, receive, process, or store any of your payment information, such as credit card details. This information is handled exclusively by Apple.
Your purchase is subject to Apple's own Privacy Policy and Terms of Use, which we encourage you to review.
Our app only receives an anonymous confirmation from Apple regarding your subscription status (i.e., whether you have an active subscription) in order to unlock the premium features for you.
5. Third-Party Services
The Colorvid app integrates with some third-party analytics, advertising, or data collection services. The Colorvid app may process and share your information to provide you with personalized advertising. To provide personalized advertising, we work with a number of third-party advertising networks, website analysis firms, and marketing analytics service providers, such as Google and Facebook. These third-party advertising service providers collect and use personal information about your visits to and use of the Service, as well as other websites, in order to serve you with content and advertisements personalized to meet your likely interests and preferences, and gauge ad effectiveness. Aggregate, anonymized interest data and demographic data may also be used for market research purposes. You can adjust your mobile device settings to opt out of receiving personalized advertising, for example, by limiting the collection, use, and transfer of mobile app information for personalized ads via the Apple iOS Advertising ID and Google Android Advertising ID. Please note that opting out of personalized advertising does not prevent the display of all advertisements to you.
6. Children's Privacy
Our App is intended for a general audience and is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect any personal information from children. If you are a parent or guardian and believe that your child has provided us with information, please contact us, and we will take the necessary steps.
7. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy within the App and updating the "Last Updated" date at the top of this policy. You are advised to review this Privacy Policy periodically for any changes.
