Founded in 1996, the COVWBC is a community-driven network for enthusiasts of Type 2 Transporters—from vintage Buses and rugged Vanagons to versatile Eurovans. We’re a collective of adventurers who believe the best way to enjoy these iconic vehicles is through driving, camping, cooking, and sharing stories with like-minded friends.
While we call the Denver metro area home, our members are scattered across Colorado and across the globe. We believe in keeping the engines running and the community connected through:
Social Gatherings: Monthly meetups along the Front Range, plus our annual summer picnic and festive holiday party.
The Great Outdoors: Our signature Spring, Summer, and Fall campouts are held at various scenic spots throughout Colorado.
Technical Support: Access to a deep well of mechanical expertise and occasional hands-on clinics to help keep your bus on the road.
We operate as a 501(c)3 non-profit organization, run entirely by volunteers—for enthusiasts, by enthusiasts. Our club is sustained by member dues and fundraisers, ensuring every dollar goes back into the community.
As a member, you’ll enjoy:
A monthly digital newsletter packed with updates and tips.
Inclusion in all club-sanctioned shows, caravans, and camping events.
A seat at the table with the most passionate VW community in the Rockies.
Ready to join the convoy? If you love the open road and the unique spirit of the VW Bus, we’d love to meet you.
