Dr. Li-Chen Ou is a Professor at the Graduate Institute of Colour and Illumination Technology, National Taiwan University of Science and Technology, Taiwan.
He also serves as the Division Secretary of CIE Division 1: Vision and Colour and an Academic Editor of Color Research and Application, a leading SCI journal in colour science.
Dr. Ou received a BSc from National Cheng Kung University, Taiwan in 1995, an MA from National Chiao Tung University, Taiwan in 1997, and a PhD from Colour and Imaging Institute, University of Derby, UK in 2004.
His areas of interest include colour science, colour vision in VR/AR, cybersickness in VR/AR, human-centric lighting design, and lighting quality research, with 100+ papers published worldwide based on numerous research projects.
