Sp0nde Sonore is a site-specific sound installation is to create an almost “mimetic” sonic environment, in harmony with its surroundings and their inhabitants, integrating with the sounds of unspoiled nature without disturbing them.

Rather than imposing itself, the work seeks to engage in dialogue with the environment by exploring a comparable language through sounds of diverse origin.

Small loudspeakers are concealed among trees, rocks, bushes, and other natural elements, encouraging the audience to explore the space, move through it, and experience listening from multiple perspectives.

The loudspeakers are equipped with microSD ports, thereby avoiding the need for extension cables that would intrude upon the environment or the use of generators that could contaminate the soundscape.

The installation Sponde Sonore was conceived for the Laghetto degli Uccelli, located approximately ten minutes from the Rifugio Levi Molinari (1,850 meters above sea level, above Exilles, Val di Susa).
