Stefania holds Bachelors and Masters degrees in Elementary Education and has a daytime career as a teacher of the gifted and talented program. In 2007, her best friend suggested trying yoga, and Stefania became hooked after her first class. In August 2010 Stefania earned her 200-hour Hatha and Vinyasa teaching certifications at Frog Lotus Yoga in North Adams, Massachusetts. She is a member of Yoga Alliance, and has an eRYT200 certification, having taught over 1,000 hours of yoga. Stefania also leads CYB's 200 Hour Hatha and Vinyasa Yoga Teacher certification program. Her other yoga certifications include Kids Yoga and Trauma Sensitive Yoga.
Upon returning to Pennsylvania in September 2010 she began to participate in yoga as both a student and teacher. In February 2012 Stefania earned Level 1 certification in ballet barre at Barre Focus Fitness in Haverford, PA.
Stefania is an active yoga student, and attends conferences and workshops in both Pennsylvania and NYC. She has studied with Sadie Nardini, Rodney and Colleen Yee, Amy Ippoliti, Beryl Bender Birch, and more.
Luz is a yoga teacher (YT,& RYT-800) and Yoga Therapist with over 25 years of experience in the biological sciences, Yoga studies, and quantum physics. She uses her scientific education and Yoga Therapy Knowledge to understand the Root Causes of Disease with a Holistic Yogic approach to Health and Healing; focused on improving your mental, Emotional, Physical, and spiritual well being. Luz is dedicated to her community, giving of her time weekly to support local charities.
Luz maintains her BS, MS, and is specialized in the areas of: Cardiac Yoga therapist, Certified Access Bars Facilitator, Certified CranioSacral Therapist (CCST), Comprehensive Yoga Therapist (CYT), Quantum Healing Practitioner (CQH), And She is a Certified Practitioner Of Awesomism; Level one a New Way to understand the treatment and diagnosis of Autism.
Beverly has been active in various styles of Yoga for 25 years, and is certified to teach Traditional Hatha Yoga. She has compiled well over 500 teaching credits which includes Teacher Certification in Therapeutic Yoga and Ayurveda and is a member of Yoga Alliance. Her passion for yoga is apparent in her teachings! In addition, she is an art teacher and combines visual art with the art of yoga in workshops. In her spare time, Beverly enjoys painting, kirtan, studying Sanskrit and the Himalayan Institute where she is a member of their Yoga Teacher's Association.
Neida started her Yoga path with the goal of "taking 40 by the throat". She pushed herself through heated Hatha styles of yoga growing stronger and more flexible as her practice grew. Her focus was attaining and holding the perfect posture, maintaining balance and alignment. She began taking tougher and tougher classes at a variety of local and distant studios. With eyes towards becoming stronger and better, Neida studied to become a Certified Yoga Teacher.
It was there that she found a match to the Yang of her practice; the gentle Yin of her teaching. Neida has developed a beautiful style at the boundaries of a traditional Western class. She includes the rituals of mudra, breath, and motion in synchronicity - adapting props to encourage the body into releasing. But don't be fooled, she still moonlights as the tough one.
Sarah's curiosity about yoga was sparked when she first took a yoga course as an elective in 2007 at Temple University. She soon realized that yoga was so much more than pretty postures shown on the covers of magazines. Since then she has continued to be intrigued by yoga, its many facets, and its applications off the mat. Her personal practice is constantly evolving and she will always consider herself a student of the practice. Sarah completed her 200 hour hatha and vinyasa training at the Collegeville Yoga Bar in March 2016. She maintains her original curiosity, knowing there is always more to learn about yoga. From this learning opens up one’s relationship with oneself, others, and life itself.
Barbara began her yoga journey as a counterbalance to marathon training in the Spring of 2016. Quickly learning that there is much more to yoga than asana work, she began to embrace yogic philosophy striving to incorporate all of Patanjali’s eight limbs of yoga into her life. Barbara completed the 200-hour Hatha and Vinyasa certification program at the Collegeville Yoga Bar in July of 2017 and is a member of Yoga Alliance (RYT-200). She earned her doctorate in Education and enjoys incorporating yoga into her work as a music teacher. Passionate about sharing the benefits of yoga with others, especially those new to the mat, she looks forward to seeing you at the studio!
Marianne started practicing yoga eight years ago. She likes to consider herself a gym rat. She lifts weights, and works out regularly with a trainer. Marianne had been very interested in toning and strength training but when she decided to try yoga, she realized what she had been missing... an essential piece to her life. The game changer was yoga. She loved how the Zen relaxation made her feel. It calmed her mind, helped her focus at work, and decreased stress.
As a wife, mother, and owner of Elaina’s Art Gallery, life can get pretty stressful. It was such gift to be able to practice yoga and meditation for Marianne. She was able to enter her fifties in the best shape of her life physically, mentally, and spiritually . Marianne completed 200 hour Hatha and Vinyasa certification program at the Collegeville Yoga Bar in 2017. She attended a weekend workshop with Beryl Bender Birch, the founder of power yoga. She also studied with the late Dr. Shane Line and is certified in meditation and holistic health which is a great addition to Yoga.
Today, Marianne enjoys teaching a Hatha class to beginners, but always offers her students the concept that “It’s your class, it's your yoga practice, and I'm here to serve you.” Her wish for her students is to leave peaceful, calm and ready to tackle their day in a loving way. Marianne enjoys teaching yoga to help people bring themselves back to the grounding breath while they are calming their mind and their spirit with an open heart. Namaste.
Julvannie holds Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Stockton University. She is a certified yoga teacher (YTT 200) in both Hatha and Vinyasa styles. She acquired her certification in Ballet Barre to supplement her yoga practice. She currently added Children Yoga in her repertoire to introduce the next generation to wellness. Julvannie is also a Certified Massage Therapist. She incorporates her background in Psychology, on how the brain functions, and in depth studies in anatomy from massage school to be an effective teacher.
Julvannie is an avid outdoor lover, with interests ranging from hiking, fishing, and sightseeing; oftentimes accompanied by family and friends. She grew up in Atlantic City, New Jersey spending countless summer hours enjoying the boardwalk, views of the ocean while enjoying city life. Julvannie is passionate about connecting with people of all ages and backgrounds and living in a city is a perfect environment for this. She loves music and art, as does her family and finds it as a source of creativity. Julvannie believes that health is wealth. She is passionate about normalizing mental health as she believes it is just as important as our physical health following this principle is the hallmark of living our optimum life. Her greatest strength is kindness and humor as she loves to make people smile and exude positive energy.
While she holds certifications in other fields, she considers herself a yoga teacher more so because yoga can access this body/mind/breath interconnection. It also encourages a strong bond with the community which creates a sense of inclusion. There's no strangers in Julvannie's book. Rather, we are all friends and family.
