Over decades several thousand students have grown up and attended public schools in Cody,

Wyoming. In general there is deep appreciation for the education received, for the community and its

marvelous surroundings, and for the friendships formed there. There are examples of alumni finding

ways to “give back” by initiating projects for the schools and raising the funds needed. The restoration

of the scenic mural used as a backdrop on the auditorium stage ($11,000) and the whimsical wood

carving “Cody Bronc at Graduation” ($3,000) are two such accomplishments.

Now there is a new opportunity to do much more in a well-ordered way through the Cody Schools

Education Foundation (“CSEF”). The mission  of CSEF is simply to “Enhance the education experience

of all Cody school students, from kindergarten through high school, and including recent graduates."

In partnership with other community resources, the Foundation will be helping the school district meet

needs and take advantage of new education opportunities.
