2.3 Camera and Photo Library Access
The App requires access to your device's camera to scan QR codes and barcodes. When you grant camera permission:
- The camera feed is used solely to detect and decode QR codes and barcodes.
- Images are processed in real-time and never saved, recorded, or transmitted.
- Once a code is recognized, the image data is immediately discarded from memory.
- The camera is never used when the App is in the background.
The App may request access to your photo library to save QR codes or barcodes that you have created. This permission is used only when you explicitly choose to save an image. We do not access, read, or transmit any other content from your photo library.
2.4 Generated and Scanned Content
- Scanned content: When you scan a QR code or barcode, the decoded content (such as a URL or text) is displayed on your screen and processed locally. We do not collect, store, or transmit this content.
- Generated content: When you create a QR code or barcode, all content you input (text, URLs, Wi-Fi credentials, contact information, etc.) is processed entirely on your device. We do not collect, store, or transmit this content.
3. How We Use Your Information
Since we do not collect any personal information, we do not use your information for any purpose other than providing the core functionality of the App on your device:
- To enable QR code and barcode scanning via your device's camera.
- To enable QR code and barcode generation based on your input.
- To save generated codes to your device's photo library (only when you choose to do so).
We do not use your information for marketing, advertising, analytics, or any profiling purposes.
4. Data Storage and Security
4.1 Where Data Is Stored
- All scanned and generated content is processed locally on your device.
- No data is uploaded to our servers or any third-party servers.
- The App does not maintain any cloud-based database of your scans or creations.
- Generated QR codes that you choose to save are stored in your device's photo library, under your full control.
4.2 Data Security
We take reasonable technical measures to ensure that data processed by the App remains secure. However, because all processing occurs locally on your device, the security of your data is also dependent on your device's security settings and practices.
4.3 Data Retention
- Scanned data is retained only temporarily in memory during the scanning session and is immediately discarded after use.
- Generated QR codes are retained only if you explicitly choose to save them to your device.
- The App does not maintain any history, logs, or cache of your scans or creations unless you choose to save them.
5. Permissions Explained
The App may request the following device permissions. Each permission is used only for the specific functionality described below:

6. Third-Party Services
The App does not integrate with any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking SDKs. We do not use Google Analytics, Firebase, AdMob, or any similar services.
The App may use open-source libraries for barcode decoding and QR code generation. These libraries run locally within the App and do not upload or transmit any data.
7. Children's Privacy
The App is suitable for users of all ages. We do not knowingly collect any personal information from children under the age of 13. Since we do not collect any personal information from any user, no special measures are required for children's data.
