The 1st Workshop on Code Intelligence (CIW 2023)

What is Code Intelligence?

The integration of artificial intelligence (AI) into software development processes has witnessed substantial growth and has become increasingly prevalent in recent times. AI developments like the foundation model and generative AI have been the primary drivers of this upward trajectory. Code Intelligence synergizes AI capabilities with software development methodologies, thereby amplifying productivity, refining code quality, and expediting the software development lifecycle. Through the strategic utilization of AI techniques, Code Intelligence makes many tasks in coding easier, like creating code, finding mistakes, testing, and even writing documentation.

This workshop program will explore the world of code intelligence, with a particular emphasis on its uses in the contexts of software implementation and verification. The scope of the workshop includes a variety of topics, such as code generation, code completion, code analysis, debugging, testing, document generation, and development environments, as well as security, dependability, and real-time functionality considerations. The program will also cover a wide range of subjects that span the whole software development lifecycle, ranging from the requirements phase to continuous maintenance.

WORKSHOP TOPICS AND GOALS

CALL FOR PAPERS

We invite position papers describing studies, challenges, and experiences regarding diversity.

We welcome position papers describing emerging ideas as well as papers describing solid results of studies and/or surveys.

Our concentration will be on the relevancy, novelty, and practicality of submissions rather than solely on their quality and contributions.

As this is a relatively new field, our intention is to exchange insights and actively encourage and stimulate its development.

Members of the committee will evaluate and choose from among all the submitted papers.

All submissions must be in English, come in A4 paper size PDF format, and conform, at the time of submission, to the IEEE Conference Proceedings Formatting Guidelines (title in 24pt font and full text in 10pt font, LaTeX users must use \documentclass[10pt, conference]{IEEEtran} without including the compsoc or compsocconf option). Extended abstract paper submissions are also acceptable.
