• Save and manage scan/create history and favorites locally on the device.

CodeGo only requests permissions and processes data essential to its core functions:
a. Camera Access
• Purpose: Scan QR codes and barcodes in real time.
• Usage: Activated only when the scan feature is in use.
• Data Flow: No scan images are saved or transmitted unless you manually save them.
b. Media & Gallery Access
• Purpose: Scan QR or barcodes from an image you select from your gallery.
• Usage: Access is granted only after your explicit selection.
• Data Flow: The image is processed locally and not stored or uploaded.
c. Generated Codes
• Purpose: Store created QR codes with or without templates for your convenience.
• Usage: Saved locally on your device’s storage; you control their deletion.
d. History and Favorites
• Purpose: Help you quickly access previously scanned or generated codes.
• Usage: Stored locally and can be cleared at any time from within the app.
3. Data We Do NOT Collect
CodeGo does not:
• Collect, store, or share personal data on remote servers.
• Track your location.
• Access your contacts without explicit action from you (e.g., generating a contact QR code you input).
• Run background processes to access media or camera without your initiation.
4. How We Use Your Information
All data is processed locally and used for:
• Providing QR code and barcode creation and scanning.
• Offering customization features for QR code design.
• Maintaining your history and favorites for faster access.
• Allowing you to share codes via your chosen apps.
We do not sell, rent, or share your data with advertisers or analytics providers.
5. Data Storage and Security
• Local Storage: All created and scanned codes, history, and favorites remain on your device.
• Deletion Control: You can delete history, favorites, or generated codes at any time.
• No Cloud Sync: We do not upload your data to any cloud or remote server.
• Secure Access: App permissions are limited to those necessary for functionality, and no hidden processes are performed.
