Veronica Woods just finished her fourth year in education. She holds a BA in English and Women’s Gender Studies from Sonoma State University, graduated Cum Laude, along with a Single Subject Free and Clear Credential in English. Additionally, she holds a Master’s of Fine Arts in Poetry from Emerson College in Boston. Veronica began her teaching career at Dozier-Libbey Medical High School, where she was a student teacher under Lisa Kingsbury teaching English 12 CP and AP Literature and Composition. Veronica then spent the next three years at Antioch High School teaching 9th, 10th and 11th CP English in the Media Technology Academy. Veronica has a great passion for Performing Arts with training in ballet, public speaking, theater and creative writing. She is so excited to be a founding teacher at the Contra Costa School of Performing Arts and help shape the minds and talents of our future artists.
