Enrique (pronounced "Onreek) is a lover of English who is finally settling in to teaching it after a meandering academic and professional path through her twenties and early thirties. She appreciates how a mastery of the beauty and precision of language can lend power to one's communication and aims to cultivate a desire and capability for such mastery in her students. She values both critical thought and aesthetic expression. Enrique is the mother of two young boys, with whom she loves to explore and read and bake. She is profoundly curious about the world and the inner life and enjoys infusing English curriculum with the many avenues of exploration available to human minds and hearts. She feels her vision for education as grounded in relationships and the development of necessary skills is a wonderful match for the artistic and practical approach of SPA!
