1. Introduction StreamRecorder ("we", "us", or "our") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and handle your data when you use our Chrome Extension.
2. Data We Collect We collect the minimum amount of data required for the extension to function:
User Content: Text prompts, audio recordings, and screen captures you voluntarily provide for analysis.
License Information: Your Gumroad license key to verify your subscription status.
Technical Data: Browser language settings to optimize the AI response language.
3. How We Use Your Data
AI Processing: Your audio and images are sent to our secure proxy server (Cloudflare Workers) and then processed by Google Gemini API to generate summaries and notes.
Verification: Your license key is verified against the Gumroad API.
Ephemeral Processing: Audio and image data are transient. They are processed in memory and immediately discarded after the AI response is generated. We do not permanently store your recordings or screenshots on our servers.
