☆      growing  up  with  just  his  mother  who  struggled  with  mental  illness  while  maintaining  a  low  income  job,  there  was  NEVER  a  lot  of  time  for  archie.  he  often  dealt  with  the  chaos  in  house  landon  by  shutting  himself  down.  his  dad  was  in  prison  since  before  he  was  born  and  had  never  seen  freedom  again  as  he  died  due  to  illness  when  archie  was  sixteen.

☆      his  older  sister,  samantha,  was  given  up  for  adoption  before  he  was  born,  but  has  been  part  of  his  life  nonetheless.  he  lived  with  his  sister's  adoption  family  off  and  on  as  his  mother  struggled  to  take  care  of  archie.  his  'adoptive'  parents  played  a  huge  role  in  his  life.  they  were  the  ones  who  started  to  take  him  to  kickboxing  classes,  so  that  he  would  be  able  to  stand  up  for  himself.

☆      being  a  small,  quiet  kid  caused  him  to  get  bullied.  his  mother  was  called a  freak  and  worn-out  clothes didn't  help  his  image.  he  changed  schools  twice  when  it  got  too  bad.  all  of  it  has  caused  him  to  struggle  with self-worth  still  to  this  day.  

☆      he  was  particularly  good  in  arts  and  languages  in  school,  but  never  went  to  college.  he  couldn't,  because  he  got  expelled  for  beating  up  one  of  his  bullies.  this  was  just  after  his  dad  died  and  puberty  finally  really  started  to  hit.

☆      with  all  the  freedom  he  got  after  that,  archie  started  to  experiment.  his  body  was  changing and  he  cared  more  about  how  he  looked.  through  dating  apps  archie  met  up  with  different  people  and  after  finally  losing  his  virginity,  he  never  stopped.  his  dates  often  wanted  to  see  him  again,  so  he  started  offering  second  dates  for  money.  when  his  mother  started  to  express  judgement,  he  actively  started  looking  for  paid  dates  in  order  to  be  able  to  afford  his  own  place.
