☆        travis  grew  up  with  just  his  dad,  who  had  the  habit  of  drinking  large  amounts  of  alcohol,  smoking  and  taking  drugs  in  young  travis'  presence.  the  young  boy  had  always  been  a  troublemaker;  the  way  his  dad  dealt  with  it  wasn’t  the  way  that  worked  for  him.  using  aggression  and  violence  to  force  him  to  obey,  only  made  him  more  problematic  and  left  its  physical  and  mental  scars  on  the  boy.

☆        the  age  of  eleven,  he  learned  that  he  had  two  younger  half-siblings,  tristan  and  ruby.  they  moved  into  the  house  due  to  their  mother’s  death  and  he  loathed  them  for  it.  it  was  after  months,  when  also  tristan  became  the  victim  of  their  dad’s  violence  and  insanity,  which  was  why  travis  was  slowly  getting  more  involved  with  the  twins.  he  started  to  feel  responsible  for  them.  when  the  siblings  slowly  begin  to  mature,  travis  snapped  when  their  dad  touched  ruby  inappropriately.  killing  the  man  with  the  gun  he  had  acquired  from  the  streets.  tristan  and  ruby  witnessed  the  murder  first  hand  but  he  protected  them  from  witnessing  how  he  got  rid  off  the  body.  a  secret  he's  never  revealed  to  the  twins  and  he  got  away  with  it.

☆        travis  started  to  take  on  a  parental  role  as  he  didn't  want  to  see  his  siblings  go  to  foster  care.  he's  always  done  it  his  way.  with  the  lack  of  motherly  love  in  his  own  life,  he  only  knew  what  he  had  learned  from  his  father.  the  cold  family  dynamic  stayed  in  place  and  travis'  showed  that  he  cared  about  them  by  teaching  them  how  to  shoot  to  protect  themselves.  he  never  had  the  plan  to  go  to  college  or  pursue  a  legitamite  career.  life  on  the  streets  is  all  he's  ever  known.
